I had seen the ads on T.V., and I had seen the six packs at my local bodega (I live in New York City, feel free to stop now and google “bodega” – I’ll wait). A friend was having a barbeque, and I cracked and bought a sixer of the stuff. Call me crazy, call me juvenile, call me gay... I like it, and I don’t care what anyone thinks about it.
Now when I told my guy friends at work that I liked Bud Light Lime, they asked me if I also liked Mike’s Hard Lemonade, or Smirnoff Ice. To me they’re not really similar. You see, Bud Light Lime still tastes somewhat like beer, whereas Mike’s Hard Lemonade and Smirnoff Ice taste like candy.
The point is that this new cousin in the Budweiser family is welcome to crash on my couch anytime. It’s a refreshing summer beer with a little more than a hint of lime. It’s basically like a Corona, but all the work has been done for you already. I’m sure, like some of the guys I work with, some of you will be saying that I’m not a real man, or that I’ve betrayed beer drinkers everywhere. That’s where you’re dead wrong. I still drink Dewar’s on the rocks, and normally you’ll find nothing less than a Stella in my fridge. I’m Irish to the core mother*&%@er.
Anyway, I urge you to try it, and not to lump it in with the Twisted Teas of the booze community. It deserves better, and so do you.

I have to agree with mike. It's not all that bad it just ya know.. it just tastes light and i really don't drink light beers but hey if mike has one to spare back at the apt and is offering then fuck it i won't turn it down..But i'll make sure i have my flask filled to the top with Smirnoff just to keep the idea that im drinking liquor alive!

I'd have to say I like the manual lime in a Corona...

Sam Adams Ale if not Scotch. If I wanted a lime I'd eat a f#%$^in' lime.

Summer beer, any of the Norfolk Ales will suffice, Sundew being the best for summer (of course).
